The screens people start the day with
Most of the company's day starts on a NetSuite dashboard, so that is where the answers have to be. Each panel is drawn by a portlet and fed by one data service that reads live records: open orders, tasks, permits, invoices and dispatch.

The right numbers for the right person
Who sees what is decided on the server, not hidden in the browser. A director sees every programme and every person; a technician or a customer service rep sees their own numbers and the team's, and nobody else's. Any figure opens to show the orders behind it, and an action item can be created straight from the dashboard.
When an operations manager said she could see the numbers but not act on them, the header got two new cards: everything waiting to be billed across every programme, and everything waiting to be scheduled. Each one opens the orders behind it, filtered by department.
The weekly report
A partner programme gets a weekly report covering exactly one Wednesday to the next, with no overlap: what is scheduled, and what was completed, judged per visit and per project. It is on its fifth revision, each one a request from the person who reads it.
